Denver Jones Haggard was born and raised in Philadelphia, Mississippi, where he graduated Class Vice President in the class of 2016 at Neshoba Central High School.  He has since went on to received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in broadcast and minor in theatre arts from the University of Mississippi.

 

While studying at Ole Miss, Denver was named Campus Favorite 2019-2020 and served in many leadership roles - such as president of his living community and co-executive director of the Student Activities Association pageants committee.  Denver also sang as a second tenor in the Ole Miss Men’s Glee Chorus and was a NewsWatch Correspondent.

 

Currently Denver resides in Oxford, MS where he works as a Marketing and Leasing Director for Premier Property Management and was awarded the 2020 Rising Star award, 2020 Most Improved Property within PPM and most recently, Most Innovative Marketing 2021.

 

Denver’s love of pageants started at the young age of 11 months old when he was entered into his first pageant at East Central Community College.  In 2016 Denver was crowned Most Handsome at Neshoba Central High School.  Since, he has went on to win more titles.

 

Most recently, Denver was crowned Mr. Mississippi Cosmos United States and traveled to Orlando, Florida to compete for the international title of Mr. Cosmos in July 2020.  At competition Denver was awarded overall fitness, overall formal wear, overall swimsuit and overall interview.  He also brought the international title back to Mississippi where he served for a year and promoted his platform “Making $en$e” – Advocating for and guiding financially independent young adults.
